Follow these steps to submit an access request.

  1. Sign into the Self Service Portal:
    https://devops.maximo.com

  2. Navigate to the Access Management application by going to the application menu and selecting Security → Access Management. The initial screen will show a list of users that you have access to manage. For Standard Users this will only contain their record.

  3. Select your IBM ID, this will open the "Person Information" tab. If necessary, verify that all the information is correct.

  4. Select the "Manage Access" tab. This is where you will submit the access request.

  5. Press the "New Row" button in the Assets table. This will add a row to the table and allow you to to select the asset you want to request access to.
    Note: While Self-Service Portal access is not linked to an asset, it must be requested using this process.

  6. Once an asset has been chosen, press the "New Row" button in the "Specific Access in the Environment" table. This will add a row to the table where you can specify which access you want to request. You will also need to input a justification for the request.

  7. Select the "Save" icon near the upper left part of the console. This will put the request into the queue and notify approvers of the request. You will be notified by email when the request has been approved or rejected.
