To transfer small files to the remote server you can map local drives from your client PC using the Remote Desktop Connection application.
Launch Remote Desktop Connection
Click the Options button and then click on the Local Resources tab
Under Local devices and resources click the More... button
Expand the section for Drives and click the checkbox next to the drive you would like to share.
Click OK
Return to the General tab and complete the connection as usual
Click Connect on the Do you trust this remote connection? dialog
Once connected open File Explorer from the Taskbar and you will see your local drive listed under Devices and drives
