RDC
RDC is an acronym for Remote Desktop Connection. Maximo SaaS Flex customers who have ordered an Enhanced Access DEV Environment can connect to the Maximo Application Server console using Microsoft's Remote Desktop Connection. This enables them to have standard windows user console access to the Windows File Manager, WebSphere console, DOS command line and other functionality, giving them greater and more direct control of Maximo configuration tasks and reducing the amount of cases (tickets) that must be submitted to the IBM SRE Team in order to configure changes.
