HTTPS (SSL)

HTTPS Access

All IBM Maximo and TRIRIGA SaaS on Cloud environments are accessible over the internet via browser using HTTPS (Port 443).

  • URLs and access credentials for each environment are provided in the customer Welcome Kit

  • HTTPS browser connections are 256 bit SHA-2 and TLS v1.2 compatible

  • IBM obtains and implements externally facing SSL certificates for each environment from a trusted CA (Certificate Authority)

  • Note: Customers who have chosen to provide their own SSL or integration certificates (in lieu of IBM CDS ownership/management) are responsible for providing renewed certificates to IBM prior to expiration. CDS does not track expiration dates of customer provided SSL or integration certificates.

  • IBM Maximo SaaS Flex and TRIRIGA SaaS are internet based offerings that run over HTTPS. There is no private cloud or direct connect option.

Environment URLs (Domain Names)

Customers can define 3rd level domain (prefix) names for their environment URL's. This information is provided to IBM CDS in the provisioning form and must be done prior to provisioning (as part of the order). Second and top level domain names (for example maximo.com and tririga.com) are controlled / defined by IBM.

  • Example:
For a Maximo on Cloud customer named 'Acme', the full URLs might be:
    Production Environment:     https://acme.maximo.com
    Test Environment:                https://acme-tst.maximo.com

If customers want a fully custom domain name / URL, they can create their own domain and URL and redirect to the IBM SaaS domain / URL as described above. It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain and manage this.

TRIRIGA Admin Console Access

  • TRIRIGA on Cloud customers have admin console access to all environments as the user 'system'

  • This is available using the standard TRIRIGA URL for the admin console: /html/en/default/admin

  • Example to access the admin console for a TRIRIGA on Cloud environment:
    https://customer-env.tririga.com/html/en/default/admin
