Administering IBM WebSphere
The WebSphere Administration Console on Enhanced Access DEV servers is available.
Information on how to access this is located on your server’s C:\BGInfo\notes file:
WebSphere Console URL:
https://localhost:9043/ibm/console
Login using the UserID and password provided in the C:\BGinfo\notes file
Please be aware that the IBM WebSphere console is only available through your Remote Desktop Connection (RDC session). It cannot be accessed directly from your client PC’s browser or any other internet device.
Logs
The WebSphere logs for your installation can be found at:
<WebSphere Directory>\profiles\ctgAppSrv01\logs
Your WebSphere Directory can be found in the C:\BGinfo\notes folder
Unless you have configured Maximo to output logs in a different location (see note below) then Maximo will log to the SystemOut.log file for the relevant server (typically \MXServer)
When configuring logging in Maximo, any relative paths you specify (i.e. you do not explicitly state a drive letter at the beginning of the path such as F:\ will be saved relative to the AppSrv01 directory.
For example, if you set your logging directory to simply ‘logs’ then Maximo will place logs in
<WebSphere Directory>\profiles\AppSrv01\logs\maximo\logs\
